The 1st. Class Legends Tour

Scotland is the spiritual home of golf and is the stuff legends are made of. You can't really call yourself a golfer until you have golfed the roots. Need we say more about this tour of 'The Legends' - legendary courses and legendary hospitality.

Day 1. Arrive Scotland and be met by your Golf Scotland representative who will assist with your luggage and transfer to your motor transport. Transfer to the Marine Highland Hotel at Troon that will be your base for the first three nights.

Day 2. Play Prestwick Old, venue for the first British Open in 1860 and this majestic old links is a classic example of a true Scottish course.

Day 3. Royal Troon the venue used for the 1997 British Open is the course today (men only) with ladies being invited to play the adjoining Troon Portland.

Day 4. Transfer to the Palace Hotel, Inverness, for two nights. In the afternoon play Nairn, another championship links to be used for the 1999 Walker Cup match.

Day 5. Play Royal Dornoch, unquestionably one of the finest non-Open Championship courses in Scotland and the favourite of many of the worlds' top players with undulating fairways and greens tucked away in natural hollows.

Day 6. Play St. Andrews New or Jubilee which lie in the shadow of their famous sister course but are both top quality links courses.

Day 7. The dream of any golfers life is to play the St. Andrews Old Course and today you are scheduled to make the dream come true. This will be a truly memorable experience and no words can possibly describe the emotions you will experience standing on the first tee.

Day 8. Transfer to the airport for return home or extend your visit with Golf Scotland.
