The De Luxe Legends Tour

Scotland is the spiritual home of golf and is the stuff legends are made of. You can't really call yourself a golfer until you have golfed the roots. Need we say say more about our tours of 'The Legends' - legendary courses and legendary hospitality.

Day 1 Arrive Scotland and be met by your Golf Scotland representative who will assist with your luggage and transfer to your motor transport. Transfer to the 5 star Turnberry Hotel for the first three nights.

Day 2 Play golf in the morning over the Ailsa Course, venue for the 1994 British Open Championship and easily one of the top links in the world. Optional round of golf over the Arran Course in the afternoon.

Day 3 Today play Royal Troon (men only) or Troon Portland (ladies) which hosted the 1997 British Open and features the longest and shortest holes in Open golf and is a rugged links with undulating fairways and deep bunkers.

Day 4 After breakfast, travel to St. Andrews to the Old Course Hotel which will be your base for the next three nights. In the afternoon play Carnoustie, the venue for the 1999 British Open and regarded by many as the toughest of all the Open Championship courses.

Day 5 Today you will be scheduled to play the New Course at St. Andrews. Overshadowed by its famous sister the New was laid out in 1894 by Tom Morris but this typical links is a stiff test at over 6,500 yards.

Day 6 The most memorable day of any golfers' life is to play the Old Course and today the dream will come true. No words can describe this truly wonderful experience. The final evening in the hotel will be highlighted by a farewell cocktail party and dinner.

Day 7 Transfer from hotel and depart Glasgow or Edinburgh Airport.

  • Six nights deluxe hotel accommodation (based on twin occupancy)
  • Full Scottish breakfast each morning
  • Table d'hote dinner at Turnberry Hotel each evening
  • Green fees for five rounds of golf
  • Transportation throughout by deluxe Toyota Previa (or similar) with driver/guide
